The Mean People

Peace is more apt to come to those who are strong and brave.
The Kind Ones who love may find peace evasive, as God--you and I--allow Mean People to live on earth. No matter how much we show love to the Mean People, their main purpose is to oppress. Forcing gentler souls to cower before them is a turn-on to the Mean People. They get off on hurting humans--especially those who love, for love is a gentle force. The main goal of the Mean People is to crush all things gentle.
If their whole format is to crush all things gentle, then strong and brave people scare them. If the mean person's main focus is to hurt and oppress, it would be mighty useless for the mean person to flounder energy towards the one who has enough strength and courage, to thwart the oppressive attack.
My point is love may rule the universe, pump breath into our lungs, and heal all miseries, but survival has everything to do with Strength and Bravery.
So get to it! Face your vices...force yourself to disengage for as long as possible. When the anxiety becomes too much--just before you give in to your craving--ask yourself, "Why do I feel anxious? What am I trying to get away from? What is this internal upheaval telling me? What do I fear?"
You'll be fine...

Help

Wisdom,
I couldn't agree more with this post. The earlier years of my life were spent being oppressed by a much older brother of mine. Sure, there are sibling rivalries out there but this one was different - it was his mission to “OWN” me.
Finally, one day he tried to kill me but he failed. And on that day when I stood up and fought as hard as I could - I broke all those chains and rid myself of that oppression he used to hold me down. And he knew it, too.
Call it what you will - evil, negative forces or even mean people, I believe it is part of our mission to face and transcend all of these experiences.
Great Post!

Thank you…
And thank you for your heavy honesty.
I was oppressed by parents, teachers and peers, because I was different–SPIRITUAL.
But thank God no one tried to kill me…at least not my body.
We are ALWAYS stronger than we know, as you have proven.
Stay strong,
Sun
